Commercial Certificate

Regal Air offers FAA Part 61 Commercial Pilot Certification and FAA approved Part 141 Instrument/Commercial Pilot Certification Courses. Please contact our Chief Flight Instructor for information and requirements to enroll in the FAA Approved Part 141 training program.

Course Outline:

  • Multi-Engine
  • Crew Resource Management
  • Commercial Regulations
  • In-Flight Maneuvers
  • Abnormal Procedures and Commercial Flight Operations
  • Emergency Procedures
  • Complex Aircraft Training

Once Complete, You Can Get Paid For:

  • Local scenic flights w/i 25mi of departure airport
  • Ferry flights
  • Crop dusting
  • Banner towing
  • Aerial photography
  • Become a CFI

Part 61 FAA Minimum Requirements:

  • Private Pilot Certificate
  • 2nd Class Medical
  • 250 Hours Flight Time, including:
    • 50 Hours Cross-Country
    • 100 Hours as PIC
    • 20 Hours of Training

Part 141 FAA Minimum Requirements:

  • Private Pilot Certificate
  • 2nd Class Medical
  • 120 Hours Flight Time, including:
    • 100 Hours as PIC
    • 20 Hours of Training

Note: FAA requirements vary based whether they are for Part 61 or Part 141.


Cost to complete the Commercial Certificate Course varies a lot based off of how long a student takes to complete their training. This cost assumes you have already met the hour requirements and are a competent pilot.
